Our History Sterling Management Systems was founded in March of 1983. It was started in the back office of Greg Hughes dental practice in Vacaville, California. By 1985, it had grown to a multi-million dollar organization. In July of 1986, its headquarters were moved to Glendale, California, where Sterling expanded even more rapidly and by 1988, it had achieved Inc. 500 status, a feat few companies have ever achieved. Sterling has always played its role on a very large scale; through the years, over 160,000 professionals and their staff have attended our seminars and we have delivered over 65,000 administrative and personal achievement courses based on the works of L. Ron Hubbard. We have won yearly international competitions seventeen times since our inception eighteen years ago.
