Dr. Donald Czaplicki of Wisconsin had been practicing dentistry for eight years last year, when he decided to do something to improve his practice. "I had reached a plateau as to patient volume and production, and was not expanding," he says. "I wanted to do something effective to organize my time and handle some of the stress in the office." A lot of that stress came from having the wrong personnel in the office. "We had employees with us, who were really staff problems. They were not team players." So when he got a card in the mail from Sterling, Dr. Czaplicki sent for the information offered. "I saw worthwhile business principles, which is what I wanted to spark the practice. "What Sterling does," says Czaplicki, "and what it did for me, was to tell me what to look for in our business, and how to do something about it. With the Formulas for Business Success course and the Executive Basics course, I found out how to really pick the business apart and find reasons for non-optimum performance. Sterling guided me in finding solutions to the problems. The Financial Planning course has helped tremendously in our goal towards solvency. "But even before I could begin applying the business principles, I could see the value in our consultant's advice regarding communication and people skills. I simply needed to get the proper foundation. "And that has helped us to build and develop a staff that is a ton more cooperative!" says Czaplicki. "We enjoy working with them. "The last two months have been the two highest months we have ever had and that's just from developing the proper foundation and applying some business principles. "Sterling is about being able to pick the workings of the office apart. It's about knowing how to organize all of the individual pieces and making them work together as a whole. "We're all working as a team now there is less stress, better production and we're all much happier. |
