Motivation - Staff and Doctor
very so often I ran across offices where it seems the doctor or staff forget why they are there. And when they do upsets occur and statistics suffer.
A statistic is never an end by itself. Stats do not go up because you push stats. They go up because you push purpose.
In your next staff meeting ask your staff what is their idea of the practices overall product and purpose. Keep working on it until all agree on one.
Then have them work out how their own personal purposes fit into working in your office.
Have them figure out how their own products contribute to the practice product and how rising stats reflect the achievement of the practice and their own purposes.
Get ready for soaring stats, lots of helped patients, and high-morale staff!
